ABOUT MONROE COUNTY FARM BUREAU

lISTEN. LEARN. ADVOCATE.

That’s how the Monroe County Farm Bureau makes a difference in our community.

We listen to the voices of local farmers and residents.
We learn what matters most to our agricultural community.
We advocate for policies and programs that support and strengthen rural life.

Together, we're working to ensure that agriculture remains a vibrant, valued part of Monroe County.

The Monroe County Farm Bureau Board of Directors actively engages with our members and the broader community through a variety of impactful initiatives. We:

  • Conduct local farm visits to stay connected with our members and understand their needs firsthand.

  • Sponsor legislative updates featuring elected officials to keep our members informed on policy issues that affect agriculture.

  • Organize Statehouse visits to advocate for agriculture at the state level and strengthen relationships with lawmakers.

  • Provide educational materials to local schools to promote agricultural literacy and connect students with the roots of their food.

  • Collaborate with other agricultural organizations in the region to support and grow a strong, united farming community.
